City of Chicago Fire Dept boats race to a call at the height of a violent storm. The storm, which arose quickly over Lake Michigan and hit with little warning, generated winds of up to 90 MPH and left over 100,000 people without power. Dozens of kayakers on the Chicago River required rescue after being flipped by the high winds. Shot with a Nikon D5000 and a Nikon 18-55mm f3.5G lens.
